Finance Coordinator
Title : Finance Coordinator.

Scope of the position:
The Finance Coordinator reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for managing the accounting function for the DISHA office. This also includes the treasury function for the disbursement of project funds as per budget and utilization.
Accounting & Book-keeping
•Oversee the financial software system, review, post journals and process the appropriate monthly accounting closing procedures for submission to IO.
•Ensure that the financial statements are prepared on time and with accuracy / attention to detail.
•Ensure adherence to accounting manuals and prevalent accounting practices.
•Monitor preparations for statutory audits and see them to completion by taking corrective action for non-conformance.
• Ensure the Preparation of MIS report in a timely manner and distribute to the management team and department heads for review.
•Ensure timely submission of grants & NSP reports to the respective donors.
•Supports the Finance officer in handling the tricky issues related accounts maintenance.

Payments & Reimbursements:
•Review and verify all Delhi Zonal Office payments and recommend them for processing based on guidelines / inputs from Finance Director.
•Oversee payments and reimbursements across locations and ensure that the bills and vouchers are in order.
•Facilitate timely preparation & disbursement of monthly salaries, allowances and income tax deductions.
Treasury & Others:
•Manage the disbursements of project funds across locations / projects based on plan and budget.
•Initiate the fund request process to the IO as per the standard procedure on a monthly basis for Delhi Zonal office.
•Keep track of utilization of funds and changes in plan & budget to determine further disbursements.
•Support FD on preparation of annual operational budget and project budgets (Grants, NSPs, etc).
•Escalate any issues on funds to Finance Director and resolve them accordingly.
•Ensure legal compliance related to finance operations.
•Co-ordinate with FD and keep the documents ready for review at the time of assurance review by IO.
•Co-ordinate with FD in Expatriate staff tax deduction & payment to be ensured through tax consultant.
•Ensure all the tax returns are filed in time. ( I.T, TDS, PF, etc ).
• Support the Finance Director on all department activities as required from time to time.

ChildFund India has been implementing different grants projects focused on Youth livelihood, higher education for Girls, Reading Improvement, Anti-trafficking, Community based learning centers and other developmental projects for children and youth across India.
Manager- Grant Implementation based at Bangalore, will provide direction to the above-said multi-state projects for implementation in the field directly through the project team or with the local partners, submitting the plan vs. accomplishments, budget vs. actuals and other project related information for periodic reporting to the Donors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Management and Implementation
•Work in coordination with the Project team members for effective implementation of the approved projects as per the project plan.
• Manage project teams to effectively implement the projects, including collaboration with colleagues across locations, and developing activity plans and monitoring their execution and outcomes.
• Develop and execute sound project management approach that includes building field level staff and partner capacity, providing timely support to the field level program coordinators, timely monitoring, financial oversight and reporting back on the progress of the projects.
• Work with and support partners and area team in successful implementation of the project; engage and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to enhance quality and effectiveness of project interventions.
• Ensure implementation of the projects as per compliance requirements, and establish outcome-based reporting measures and documentation.
• Execute sound project management approach that includes building capacity of field level staff and partners, providing timely support and guidance to the program/field coordinators and financial oversight for effective implementation.

Program Coordinator -Life Stage 3
Job Title: Program Coordinator -Life Stage 3

SUMMARYThis position will have a thematic focus now (e.g. Livelihood, youth empowerment and employment, etc.) and will be responsible for a particular theme or area of intervention for the overall geography of the Area. S/he will lead the implementation of the specific theme/intervention ensuring quality, timely completion of projects, documentation and reporting. This position will also be responsible for grant mobilization and proposal development. This position will be based at the Area Office and will report to the Area Manager. The position will report to the Area Manager and responsible for planning and implementation of different projects at the area level. This includes capacity building of partner staffs through internal and external resources as required.
Program Planning, Proposal Writing and Grant Mobilization
•Design / develop age-based projects for children and youth, using participatory approach and actively involves children and youth. Based on the above work this position will work with the Area Manager to prepare the AOPB for the Area as a whole.
• Work independently and with Grants team for Grant mobilization and increase ChildFund's visibility through networking, liasioning and advocacy addressing focused issues and areas of preferences.
• Develop concept notes and proposals align to the focused areas and ChildFund requirement.
Program Implementation:
• Based on the project designs and Annual Operating Plan and Projects, prepare the detailed implementation plan on the assigned thematic area.
• Implement the common programs on the thematic area and monitor progress and guide the field team on their activities.
• Interact with the children and communities to measure the impact of project activities and identify any gaps / issues to be addressed

•Ensure required technical guidance and support from ChildFund program team is reached to the assigned Local Partners for program designing, implementation and M&E.
• Responsible for technical guidance and handholding support to the partners for designing and submission of long term and annual PDDs together with budgets to ChildFund on time.
• Do follow up and guide partners to submit periodic reports with accurate data and as per the agreement.
• Ensure the partners adhere to sponsorship accountability standards with regard to the programs, finance and sponsor relations as agreed by signing the LOA
• Facilitate annual partnership reviews with partners in collaboration with partners and provide constructive feedback in relation to governance, accountability and program execution as explained in the APR guideline.
• Periodic monitoring and handholding support for partners to ensure timely implementation of program activities according to the approved PDD/AOPB and ensure over 90% of BvA at the end of every quarter and 98% by the end of the year.
•The person should have a master/post graduate degree in agriculture, animal science, or other discipline that provides an understanding of Livelihood programming.
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the management of Livelihoods projects, including a mature understanding of sustainable livelihoods programming in a variety of livelihoods intervention areas, in particular understanding of youth livelihoods preferred.
• Proven practical experience in two or more of the following: food security assessments and nutritional surveys, cash based interventions, agriculture and livestock interventions, fisheries interventions, small business / micro-credit interventions; Business plan development, market analysis; .
• Community development skills, including participatory community assessment and planning techniques, with skills in capacity building of communities and experience of working with livelihoods groups/community-based structures.
• Have experience in monitoring and evaluation of multi-state livelihood programs with any NGOs/INGOs.

The position is envisioned to help ChildFund India to ensure job profile realignment, job readiness assessment, skill enhancement, staff optimization, Performance Management etc. The HR Manager will also drive the Training and Development initiatives and ensure that learning and development needs of staff in all offices/ Country Office are appropriately addressed and undertaken effectively. The incumbent will work with all ChildFund functional units to draw up development strategies and plans based on the organizational strategies; and will work directly under the guidance of the HR & Admin Director to ensure effective implementation of the growth management plans at the staff level and the management level. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Training & Capacity Building:
• Design training module & plan for appropriate training programs. Work with functional leaders and managers to execute plans within their respective units with seamless integration & collaborative approach.
• Develop annual training calendar & facilitate effective execution of the same.
• Identify areas of potential challenges concerning in line with the changes in responsibilities at various levels within ChildFund India.
• Conceptualize, propose and coordinate managerial and leadership training in close guidance with HRAD including conducting National Learning Events & International Learning Events.
