Title: Business Development Executive - Tele Calling

ChildFund is looking for Tele Calling Executives for their in-house tele Calling operation. The incumbent will also be present at kiosks set up in corporate/companies in order to identify regular donors to support the work of the organization. The successful candidate should be comfortable speaking on the phone with several people each day to explain our work and raise donors either through regular giving or onetime donation so as to derive maximum Return On Investment (ROI) for ChildFund.

  • Responsible for making outbound calls and regular follow up on leads assigned.
  • Understanding customer requirements and encourage them to sign up through NACH as the primary mode of payment.
  • Answer potential donor questions about the projects and lead them to sign up.
  • Generate a minimum target of 10 donors per month.
  • Set appointments with prospective donors based on their schedule.
  • Maintain a log of calls made on a day to day basis
  • Business Reply Envelope Collections and Co-ordination with Post Office and ChildFund admin team.

Title: Officer - Business Analyst & Donor Servicing

The Officer - Business Analyst & Donor Servicing will be responsible for the end to end donor servicing process,analysis of data and ensuring that the donor calendar is followed. He/she will execute and monitor various relationship building activities of ChildFund, preparation of feedback reports on acquisition and retention and donor’s demography and geography. The key deliverables will be evaluated based on the servicing timelines, donor satisfaction,donor testimonials,report submission on fundraiser basis and retained numbers.

Donor Database Management, Servicing, Reporting and Analysing
  • Managing the donor management software and responsible for routine data entry of donor/donation related information in the software.
  • Responsible for monitoring and verification of data quality and ensuring they are received from proper revenue channels
  • Responsible for monitoring the sources of donations via the respective bank interfaces and keeping updated records for the same along with monthly reconciliation of receipts and payments. (Payment Gateway, CMS, ECS/NACH, etc)
  • Responsible for facilitating the collection of cheque from third party FR agencies on a daily basis for depositing in the bank.
  • Manage the process of returned cheques/failed payments and also refunds and update the MIS and relevant processes accordingly.
  • Support Senior Management Team in periodic analysis of donation trends (both public and non-institutional) and prepare MIS for the review.
  • Business Reply Envelope Collections and Co-ordination with Post Office and ChildFund admin team

Fundraising Capacity Building
  • Conduct organizational assessments weekly to facilitate training and assistance with the Fundraising Team

Learning and Documentation
  • Develop framework for capturing and sharing Donor testimonials.
  • Conduct training on data analysis and data collection in coordination with Manager - Individual Resource Mobilization

  • Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience in donor servicing, data entry, data management and analysis.
  • Should have good command over MS- word especially MS-Excel.  Have good analytical and presentation skills on data, report generation and analysis on various aspects of a donor.
  • Ability to execute online marketing activities like mass mailing, SMS’s and creates feedback and analytic reports.

To help ChildFund India’s operation to increase the regular fundraising income within an efficient cost/income ratio and build and motivate the F2F/Tele Calling fundraising team.

Recruit, manage, build, motivate and achieve the target of the face to face/tele calling fundraising team, focusing on the following
  • Be responsible for achieving the teams daily/ weekly targets, in accordance with agreed Key Performance indicators (KPIs). This includes setting targets for individual team members and managing their performance with the support of the Manager - Individual Resource Mobilization, and at the sametime meeting personal fundraising targets.
  • Prioritising the retention of F2F/Tele Calling fundraisers by developing their skills and highlighting opportunities for career progression within ChildFund India.
  • Be responsible to get the outreach permissions.
  • Facilitate the orientation of the new persons joining the team as wel as facilitate and coach the ongoing onsite training.
  • Reporting to the Manager Individual Resource Mobilization on a daily,weekly and monthly basis.
  • Work closely with the HR department to ensure the right number of fundraisers in the team.
